Too soon to rate durability or quality. I went to the Broxton from the carpenter short for increased inseam. But lo and behold I still have all the necessary loops and outside pockets for tools and cell phone.

Balance of strength and lightness
Not as strong as the thicker ripstop shorts from carhartt, but much more flexible and lighter.

Functional and Useful
I bought one pair originally and then bought a second pair in another color. They seem to be holding up well at the two month mark on the first pair. Due to the short length of time, I only gave them a 4 star on durability. This short has a very good phone pocket that easily fits an Iphone X with a case.

I bought 4 shorts & they are the best shorts which I ever owned in my whole life! Worth every penny! Very comfortable & plenty pockets! The best pocket is the one with the zipper which holds my wallet without no worries about losing it but wish every shorts comes with the zipper! No complaints!
