You needs to contact Carhartt to get the right size on Coveralls. It makes a big difference before you waste time trying them on. They tend to be 10 or 12 numbers more than your waist size to be able to wear over your other clothes. Definitely need Tall also if you are taller than the average Bear.

I use these every winter as a tow truck operator. We have a local tailor sew on reflective striping for visibility at night, however the darker color in the day is a good contrast in snow conditions. Keeps me pretty warm with a sweatshirt under I'll be ok to about -20F or so. If I were sitting and operating equipment I'd get the thicker version of these.

I purchased my husband a new pair of the Brown Duck Coveralls/ Quilt for Christmas. The only reason I had to replace his very very old ones was due to him catching the pant leg on fire. Otherwise he would still be in his other pair. He is currently working in MI and is wearing his Black Artic Coveralls. As soon as he gets back to the great state of KY he will literally jump back into the brown ones. I would recommend both of these coveralls to anyone.

The design allows for easy on/off. It can be opened for ventilation when needed, or worn over other clothing if additional warmth is needed. It will last a long time due to good materials and craftsmanship. Not waterproof. Most pens wont fit in the pen pocket. Go ahead and buy the hood. You will be glad you did.

The weather finally cooperated and we now have winter here in Michigan. I wore these for the first time today in 13 degree weather with a wind chill making it feel like -3 degrees. I was wearing a t-shirt and heavy duty Carhartt sweatshirt for top layer and just jeans for the bottom. I could feel the cold around my shoulders but I never froze. I think if I had wore a poly pro or merino wool type of long underwear top underneath my sweatshirt I would never have noticed the cold. I was doing farm work, on and off the tractors, cutting down trees with a chainsaw, picking up branches and logs for 8 hours. Ended up breaking a sweat These coveralls are the real deal, they are tough and warm! I think they will last me for many years to come and are well worth the price, which compared to some outdoor high tech clothing is actually quit cheap. I used the tru fit app from the Carhartt website and it works. I have wide shoulders and I thought that would be an impediment when lifting etc, but it is not. Order your normal size.

I purchased a duck coverall/quilt-lined over thirty (30) years ago and I am still wearing them. They may need to be replaced after all this time, but I am still in them. Used my husbands old Carhartts for years before I purchased mine. I wore his and then mine every day in the barn though out every winter and stayed warm in every winter with just thermal underwear underneath. Going to buy myself another new Carhartt coverall again. Thanks Carhartt for the best ever winter garment anyone could ever ask for! No wonder the Ironworkers wear them!

I ordered these coveralls so that I could ride my motorcycle to and from work throughout the year. I live in the north east and as you know it gets very very cold. Well, these coveralls are the best. I will never be able to wear these out. They are so tough and durable and are every bit of what I had come to expect from Carhartt. They keep me warm in the most frigid of temps and deflect the wind better than any motorcycle riding gear that I have owned. Love them.

Ive had mine for several years now and their one of my favorite carhartt items. Kept me nice and toasty through some of those cold nebraska winters where i used to live and even worked great for deer hunting during late season when its ice cold. They actually do pretty well against moisture too. They're a must have This person is part of our Field Testing program and may have received this product for free. My coverall is probably my favorite Carhartt clothing item I own (and I own a LOT of them). Snowblowing in wind and snow has never been easier since I bought this coverall 3 years ago. All I wear underneath is a pair of socks and my underwear. Nothing more is needed, this coverall is so warm. I have the Short size and it fits me like a glove. Length in arms and legs is absolutely perfect.

Very well built and super warm. Iwork in a warehouse setting with no heat and on zero degree nights was warm all night. Only very small problem i see is with the fit ordered a 48 reg and it is a little long for my 5-10 frame but is is still workable. This will last for a long time and would highly reccommend to anyone.

These are the best coverallls money can buy, wearing rugged outerwear is a day to day occurance on the farm and while doing other jobs. The tough duck material can withstand almost anything you subject it to. Color and apperance dont weigh to heavily on my list of important, but fit and quality do. Carhartt is the only brand i trust for reliable outerwear.

I finally had an occasion to use these coveralls. They fit pretty comfortably and aren't to bulky. I'm sure that I will get years of use out of these due to the fact that they are made of such a dense and sturdy material. I doubt that I will ever be able to wear them out. I am short and stocky and that is the main reason I chose to purchase these coveralls. I have a very tough time finding anything that is actually in my size, so when I do I buy it.

We are having a very cold and snowy winter here in the Northeast, but I have yet to notice! I purchaced the quilt-lined duck coverall from Carhartt and it is the first thing I reach for when the temperature drops. With this product I am oblivious to the cold. Should of bought one of these years ago. Unlike other coveralls from other companies these do not inhibit movement at all. Best coverall I have ever owned.

I have owned a pair of these coveralls for a couple of years and absolutely love them. I just bought a pair for a co-worker and they love them also. Warm, comfortable, durable and they look good. We use them to go striper fishing in the Winter and all I wear underneath is a pair of jeans, a turtle neck and a t-shirt. I am plenty warm. I just wish they came with a shorter inseam. In any case, I love these coveralls!!!

These coveralls last a long time, despite heavy use and abuse. They protect against cold and wind chill and are good for rain-resistant outdoor use. Can be machine-washed and dried for quick turnaround/reuse after heavy soiling. Knees and elbows resist premature wear-out. The size options allow for very good fit. We still have 2 pairs bought in 1988 that have probably will last another year, though they were supplemented with new Carhartt coveralls in 2008. The improvements in individualizing the fit are great. The material in the new coveralls is as durable but not so stiff as the old ones. We really like them better than ever, not something one can say with just any new editions of a product. The cost is very reasonable considering the quality and long-lasting nature of the suits. They are easy-on and easy-off--no ten-minute war dances when trying to change clothes. Most soiling washes off surprisingly easily (but not diesel tractor grease). And there are lots of pockets in all the right places.

My insulated coveralls are my go-to outfit for outdoor activities in the fall and winter. When the cold winds blow and the snow is flying, they are number one. I use them for yard work, clearing the driveway, hunting, ice fishing and gettting a load of firewood. I have had always had a pair of Carhartt coveralls to jump into for the past 40 years. They last and last, too. Maybe a bit too long. They get stained and grubby, but still do the job year in and year out.
